HEATHER WAID is a highly sought-after pianist and vocalist, known particularly for her exceptional collaborative skills. Born in Sacramento, she received Master of Fine Arts degrees in both Collaborative Piano Performance and Vocal Performance from Notre Dame de Namur University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities & Religious Studies with a minor in Music from California State University, Sacramento.

When she isn’t teaching, Heather is the Artistic Director and co-founder of the Sacramento Pop Choir, Associate Artistic Director of the Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus, and also composes and arranges music.

During your lessons, you will most likely get to meet Heather’s two senior dogs, Gizmo and Gary! Give them a couple of pets, and they’ll happily sleep through all the music.
